September 10, 08:18 – Event ended: five product lines confirmed
Confirmed: Apple's official event recap lists iPhone Duo, iPhone 18 Pro, Apple Watch Series 12, Apple Watch Ultra 4 and AirPods 5. iPhone Duo is Apple's first foldable iPhone. For iPhone 18 Pro, Apple highlights a 48MP main camera with variable aperture. Series 12 gains a new Health Sensing System, while Ultra 4 is rated for up to 45 hours of Max Extended Workout tracking. Apple claims AirPods 5 deliver up to 1.5 times more active noise cancellation than the previous generation. Source: Apple Events.
The German product pages specify preorders for iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max from 2 p.m. on September 12, with availability on September 18. iPhone Duo follows with preorders at 2 p.m. on October 16 and availability on October 23. Technical details and German starting prices are covered in the concise Pandorex overview of iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone Duo.
Pandorex assessment: Duo is the biggest form-factor change, but price, hinge durability and adapted apps will determine its practical value. Apple's battery-life, sensor-accuracy and noise-cancellation figures are manufacturer claims that require independent testing.
Audio: AirPods 5 without evidence of lossless transmission
Confirmed: Apple says AirPods 5 use a new acoustic architecture and stronger active noise cancellation. The event recap does not establish H3, a specific lossless wireless path, compatible source devices, data rates or latency figures.
Pandorex assessment: Better ANC and revised acoustics may be audible, but they do not prove lossless audio. The technical constraints are explained in the Pandorex guide to Bluetooth codecs, lossless, H2 and H3.
September 9, 19:08 – iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max confirmed
Manufacturer statements: Apple shows both models with color-matched aluminum and back glass, in Black, Silver, Glacier and Burgundy. The product film names new CPU and GPU cores plus a second Neural Engine. Source: Apple Event, English captions.
Pandorex assessment: Additional AI hardware matters; its benefit depends on software and energy use. The presentation cannot replace independent performance testing.
September 9, 10:10 – Event time and stream confirmed
Confirmed: Apple specified September 9 at 10:00 Pacific Time, equivalent to 19:00 in Germany. Streaming was announced on Apple's website, Apple TV and YouTube Live. Source: Apple Developer.
Pandorex assessment: An invitation did not confirm individual products or specifications. The subsequently published technical details, regional availability and pricing were what mattered.
